The company Greubel Foresey was started in 2004. Right from the starting year, the company has been manufacturing only 5 to 18 Quadruple Tourbillions per year.
One of the founders of Greubel Foresey, Mr. Stephen Bersey informs that the high price of the watch is mainly due to the operating mechanism inside te watch. The company required 5 years to design and make this watch.
The watch is fitted with 4 tourbillion devices in place of the required 2 tourbillion devices required. The watch can show the times across the world with 2.5 seconds precision. The watch is not affected by gravity. This watch simply cannot be compared with other watches. It has 534 parts.
Each part is of 43.5 mm size requiring microscope to have a look at. There is a part of only 0.35 mm size. Most of the parts are hand-made and not machine-made.
