Vellore Collector’s Personal Secretary, Mr. Anandakumar, suggested that all banks should come forward to extend loans to ex-army personnel to help start their own industry.
A grievance meeting for ex-army personnel and a conference on entrepreneurship was conducted at the collector’s office on Wednesday, 11th March.
Mr. Anandakumar presided and addressed the gathering.
He said that the government cannot create and offer jobs for the retiring army personnel. So, they can benefit by the conference on entrepreneurship and start their own business. All banks should come forward to extend loans for the retired military personnel to start self business. District administration is ready to help.
Deuty Director of retired army personnel welfare, Mr. K Gnanasekaran, NABARD Bank manager, Mr. S D Sudarshan, Pioneer Bank Manager Mr. C sekhar, District Employment Opportunities Officer, Ms Baby Subbulakshmi, District Industrial Centre General Manager, Mr. G Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Manager, Mr. Kulasekharan, and TADCO General manager, Mr. Ramakrishnan participated in the conference and addressed the audience.
