Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi informed that loans up to Rs, 500000 Crores have been issued under the Mudra scheme to the small & micro entrepreneurs across the country.
A national seminar for entrepreneurs belonging to the backward and ancient tribal communities was conducted at Delhi recently.
Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi participated in this seminar and informed that the central government has accorded top priority for disbursing loans for industrial development.
This is an avenue which will create more job opportunities and reduce the the number of jobless people across the country.
In earlier times. It was rather difficult for the entrepreneurs belonging to most backward communities and ancient tribal communities to get loand. Especilly, the entrepreneurs without any financial support found it extremely difficult to get loans.
However, with the introduction of Mudra Scheme, it has become easier for these entrepreneurs to get loans t start their own industries.
With Mudra Scheme, it is possible for the entrepreneurs belonging to most backward communities and Ancient Tribal Communities to get loans ranging from Rs. 50000/- to Rs. 10 Lakhs.
So far, under the Mudra Scheme, Loans of Rs. 50000 Crores have been given to the entrepreneurs belonging to most backward communities and Ancient Tribal Communities.
8 Lakh entrepreneurs have availed this loan facility.
Job opportunities for 14 Crore persons have been created with the extension of these loans.
