Ambur private hospital received bomb threat which leads to the tense situation prevailed in a hospital environment. Bethesda Hospital at Bethlehem in Ambur received the letter warning of a bomb explosion before January 14. After the call received the police was informed and they checked the hospital with the Bomb Squad, Sniffer dogs, Bomb Detector. But After an-hour of search, it was found to be a hoax.
The DSP E Vijaya Kumar said the letter had a fake address of Mylapore in Chennai and was posted from Ambur itself on January 8. The police registered a case.
