Delay in dispute over the ownership of the original story line, the Rajinikanth’s famous ‘Lingaa’ will hit theatres on Friday at 1.00 am
In Thursday The Madras High Court granted to release the movie on Friday with the condition of, producer of the movie Mr.Venkatesh should deposit Rs.5 crore in bank
Mr. Dhanapalan and Mr. Velumani division authorities ordered that the movie could be released by 1 a.m. on Friday, the Superstar Rajini’s birthday, if the producer could deposit Rs.3 crore in the bank account of the Registrar through online transfer by Thursday evening.
After the dispute, the counsel for the producer agreed.
Later in the evening, the High Court’s Registrar (Administration) M. Jothiraman confirmed that the producer had transferred Rs. 3 crore to an official account maintained by the High Court at State Bank of India and the rest of the money will be handed over by Monday.
Finally the movie Lingaa has released on Today at 1.00 am, yesterday morning onwards the online reservation has started for the movie.
