Ramzan fasting occasion was inaugurated at the Mahatma Gandhi Old Age Home located in Arcot Bypass Road.
President Mr. J. Lakshmanan presided over the occasion.
Mahatma Gandhi Endowment Founder Mr. Muthkuppuswamy, Secretary Akbar Sheriff, and Vice-president Pendant Bence Pandian led the occasion.Management Trustee Mr. K Saravanan welcomed the gathering.
Thiruvalam Santha Swmigal, Doctors V R Sudhakar, Anbu Suresh, Melvsharam Imam Masjide Taeem Moulana, Abdul Karim Kashibi, Arcot Tamil Nadu Textile Shop owner Soukat Ali, and Vellore Senthil Kumar were the special guests.
All endowment officials and local religious personalities participated.
Earlier, new clothes were distributed to the members of the Old Age Home.
