It is well known that Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu is making a comeback in silverscreen with the lead role in Jagajala Pujabala Tenaliraman. The ace comedian plays a dual role in the film.
The movie stars Meenakshi Dikshit pairing opposite Vadivelu and the supporting cast includes, RadharaviManobala, Mansoor Ali Khan, Santhana Bharathy, G M Kumar, Bala Singh, Krishnamurthy, Namo Narayanan, Jo Malluri, Sakthivel, Chelladurai, Kingkong and Devadarshini among others.
This being a period film directed by debutante Yuvaraj Dayalan, huge sets replicating ancient forts and palaces were erected for the movie by Art director Prabhakaran.
The movie has been shot extensively in Coutrallam, Acchangkoil and Pudhucherry. The film totuted as a comedy caper has music by acclaimed composer D Imman and currently he is in the process of completing the re-recording for the film.
Ramnath Shetty handles the camera. He is said to have captured scenes in a colourful manner. Veteran dialogue writer Aaroordas has penned dialogues that would not only make everyone laugh but also think a lot.
Raja Muhamad handles editing. Sivasankar, Brindha and Sivasankar have choreographes the songs with lyrics by Viveka and Pulamaipithan.
Besides wielding the megaphone, Yuvaraj Dayalan has also penned the story and screenplay. The film is scheduled to release this April as a summer holiday treat, the movie has been produced in a grand scale by AGS Entertainment owned by Kalpathy S Agoram, Kalpathy S Ganesh, and Kalpathy S Suresh.
