During the recent budget presentation of Tamil Nadu government, it has been announced that a single-window on-line system will be set up to give licences to entrepreneurs who start micro, small, and medium scale industries
Vellore micro & small industry entrepreneurs’ association has welcomed this.
The Association president, Mr. M V Swaminthan, welcoming the news, informed that an Entrepreneurs’ Development is set to be started with the help of both private & public sector industries. He thanked the state government for the allotment of Rs. 3 Crores in the first stage and the allotment of Rs. 365.91 Crores for assistance to start micro & small scale industries.
He added that it was a disappointment that the concession for VAT not being increased from the current level of Rs. 10 Lakhs.
