A special camp was organised to facilitate oening of savings accounts under the ‘Selvamagal Semippu Thittam’ at Ambur Post Office.
Tamil Nadu Postal Circle Directyor, Mr. A Govinf=darasan, presided and distributed passbooks to 150 customers who opened accounts under this scheme.
In Thirupathur Postal Division, a ‘5000 accounts’ camp was organised. 5000 more accounts under this Selvamagal Smippu Thittam are expected to be opened.
All local senior officials participated.
