As per the plan to install 287 new transformers in Gudyatham city, the 100th new transformer was set up and activated at the old bus terminus on Saturday, 2nd May.
In order to ensure the availability of electric power uniformly and at correct strength and also to reduce TNEB’s (Tamil Nadu Electricity Board) losses, the project of installing nre transformers has been taken up in the last 1 year.
Thirupathur Distribution Superintending Engineer, Mr. T. rajendran, switched on the 100th new transformer.
TNEB senior officials participated.
