Tamil actor Vivek’s son Prasanna Kumar has died on Thursday, 29 October.The death has come as a shock to his fans, friends and the family.
Prasanna Kumar, aged 13 , was affected by dengue and also was suffering from brain fever. He was being treated for the same for 40 days.
He was on and off the ventilators during his hospitalisation. At one point of time, he was on the path of recovery. “But suffered a relapse later and his condition worsened,” the Times of India reports a source as saying.
Unfortunately, Prasanna Kumar did not respond to the treatment and breathed his last at SRM Institutes for Medical Science at Vadapalani, Chennai, around 4.25 pm. He is survived by father Vivek, mother Arulselvi and sisters Amritha Nandini and Tejaswini. People, who knew him, has said that he was good at keyboard playing.
The final rites will be performed at Vivek’s native town Tirunelveli on Friday, 30 October, at 3.30 pm.
