AIADMK supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has urged her party cadre to start free distribution of drinking water and buttermilk tohelp the people beat the heat.
She also asked her party men to ensure that the facilities were hygienic.
“A chance to serve the people awaits us this summer. I urge our party brethren to set up drinking water and buttermilk stalls in their respective areas. This should be done with no pomp or fanfare, to help people quench their thirst,” read the CM’s statement.
