Tamil Nadu government appoints new state law commission members

The Chief Minister, J.Jayalalitha has made alterations in the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) and nominated the former Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice N. Dinakar as Chairperson of the SHRC. She also insisted that the nominations for other members of the commission will be taken care later.

On its continuation, Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha has appointed the members of the State Human Rights Commission.

Chennai High Court Retired Judge, D.Suthanthiram, Legal Department Retired Additional Secretary R.Vivekananthan has been appointed as full time members of SHRC.

Retired District Judges R.Dayalan and R.MuniRathnam have been appointed as part time members.

Legal Department retired Addition Secretary R.Kathirvel has been appointed as full time director of the SHRC.
