VIT Chancellor Mr. G Viswanatahan informed that 10 Students from VIT have been selected by Microsoft Corporation for training.
VIT has started a ‘Knowledge-based Engineer Connect/exchange Programme. The selection examination for this was conducted on Tuesday & Wednesday (17th & 18th March).
Microsoft’s India Global Deliver Managing Director Mr. Amit Sarkar and Commercial Appraisal Department Head Mr. Sekhar Viswanathan participated.
VIT Chancellor Mr. G Viswanathan explained in his address that Microsoft selects 30 students every year from VOIT for recruitment. This trend will continue every year.
The selected 30 students will be given training by experts their company located in 36 countries from the 2nd year of their engineering course till 4th year for a total of 3 years.
After the final year training, these students will be appointed in Microsoft Office in New York. Entire expenses for the training and follow-up activities will be borne by Microsoft.
