Mr. Ramesh Kudawala, ADGP (Additional Director General of Police), informed that the vacancies in the fire-fighting department will be filled up within the next 2 months.
The annual meeting of fire-fighting officers in the regions of Vellore, Kancheepuram, Thiruvannamalai, and Thiruvallur was conducted at the office of the Deputy Director of the fire-fighting department at Vellore.
ADGP, Mr. Ramesh Kudawala, participated and presented shields to 10 best performers.
He observed that the fire-fighting in Tamil Nadu was really performing well. It has procures the latest equipment including 54’ & 110’ modern ladders. The state government has allotted Rs. 300 Crores for the fire-fighting department.
All the vacancies in the department will be filled up in the next 2 months.
