An analytical meeting on the proghress of different projects with participation from concerned departments was conducted at Vellore Collector’s Office. Vellore Collector, Mr. R. Nandhagopal, presided.
He informed that sewage drain-pipe project has been decided at the ‘punjai andheena purampokku land’ at the village of pendhur unde the city administration of Alankayam. ‘No objection’ certificate has to be procured fromk the Forest Department.
The pending payment of electricity bhill for Rs. 6.5 Crores has to be paid immediately.
Electricity connection for pumps connected to unused deep bore-wells has to be cut off immediately. This will substantially reduce the financial burden of city administrations.
The payments pending to the library from village & city administrations have to be paid immediately.
75% of the work has been completed atthe Melmonavur Sri Lank Refugee Tamils camp improvement project. Village administration office premises are being renovated at a cost of Rs. 50000/-. 144 offices have been renovated. The balance is expedited.
All digital banners set up without proper permission must be removed immediately.
