Wheat flour – a cup
Rice flour – 1 tablespoon
Onion – 1
Beans – 5
Carrots – 1
Potato – 1
Cabbage – a cup
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Salt – as required
Sesame oil – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Method:
• Finely chop onion and beans.
• Grate carrots, potatoes and cabbage.
• Just fry lightly wheat flour in a skillet. Add rice flour and salt with wheat flour.
• Pour the boiled water in that mixed flour and mix it for pudding. Use sesame oil and knead well.
• Leave the oil in a skillet and fry onion, beans, carrots, cabbage and potatoes.
• Then add the chilli powder and salt and saute. Do not cook until it dries, Saute lightly.
• Make a shape of small size ball , lightly touch with oil and shape it as bowl to put the vegetable mixture, cover the edges and paste. Similarly prepare the remaining flour, and then put them in the idli pot for 8 – 10 minutes.
• Now Wheat Veg Pudding is ready, good for evening snacks.
• You do not need anything for side dish. It is excellent for children, diabetes patients to eat nutritious food.
