New Wireless Projection Tool – VIT Students Renovation

A new electronic interface tool has been developed by the final year student of VIT, which involves the use of your smart phone, instead of the laptop to showcase the presentations through the LCD projectors wirelessly.

It is anticipated that, soon this tool will transfigure the consumer market.

Amit Biswal, a final year B.Tech student from Odisha, linked to the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the VIT University, has launched a small-sized electronic device aided with the ARM processor, which can be coupled wireless to any projectors by means of a Bluetooth-Operated mobile phone functions on android operating system.

This unit is expected to cost around Rs.3, 000. Additionally, the user’s needs to instate a holding mobile software application, which has been build up purposely for this kit.

This kit has completely purged the need for laptop, laser pointers and multimedia presenter, said Biswal’s guide professor Marimuthu.

All sorts of formats of including pdf, power point presentations, MS office documents and video clips from the phone can be accessed via this wireless kit.

We have already filled the patent for this tool, Biswal said.

By means of the smart phone, anyone one can put forward the documents and videos and can alter the slides, simply by filching over the touch screen or snapping on next button.
