Tannery workers at SIPCOT Ranipet protest with siege at Collector’s Office

Following the recent accident when the effluent tank of one of the tanneries burst when 10 persons died, the electric power supply for these factories were cut. This has rendered the workers jobless. The workers surrounded the Vellore District Collector’s office in protest. There was some excitement.
