A 2-day seminar was organized on ‘Government language’ sponsored by Tamil Development Department and concluded on Wednesday, 23rd September at the office of the District Collector, Vellore.
Vellore Collector, Mr. Nandhagopal, handed over the memorial shield for the best performance in the usage of Tamil as a government language to office of the Assistant Collector, The Hindu Religious Endowment Department and addressed the gathering. A number of Tamil Language experts and teacher have detailed how to employ Tamil in official procedures.
With the advent of computer & internet across the world which has contributed a phenomenal change in doing our tasks, the language Tamil has gained prominence in computer usage.
Hence, using the prevailing trend o ‘Computers anywhere & everywhere’, we should also adapt the stance of ‘Use of Tamil anywhere & everywhere’.
All the government employees should cultivate the interest of speaking in Tamil.
