The last special camp for voter list registration and correction was conducted in Tamil Nadu yesterday, Sunday, 11th October.
2 last camps were conducted during the 20th of last month and 4th of this month. 14.50 Lakh applications were received in these camps.
As per the requests from various political parties, a further last special camp was conducted .
The deadline for the voters to apply online through internet ad to approach the office directly was extended from 14th to 24th.
In yesterday’s special camp, tens of thousands of applicants had come for registration & corrections.
Those who failed to participate in these camps can still apply through online internet or by directly submitting applications in Taluk office till 24th October.
The election Commission has announced that the corrections can be carried out through the recently introduced ‘Easy’ system.
