The General Manager of Chennai Communications Circle, Ms. Kalavathy, has requested to the public that certain fraud agencies were indulging in getting money while promising high quality BSNL internet service connection and the customers should be watchful not to be cheated by them.
It is reported that some individuals contact the BSNL customers and inform that BSNL internet services are to be changed. Higher quality service based on cyber-technology will be offered. If the customer returns the old modem, new modem will be provided. It would cost Rs. 2500/-.
GM Ms. Kalavathy informed that some customers had asked for an explanation about this. BSNL is not collecting money for these purposes. If anyone contacts, the customer can complain to the nearest Police Station. They should not pay any money and get cheated.
