Tamil Nadu School Education Board Director Mr. S. Kannappan has ordered that all SSLC/+2 students must be allowed to write the public examinations.
In a circular to all District Primary Education Officers regarding this, he has informed that Government Public Examinations are scheduled to be conducted for all SSLC & +2 students. It is gathered that some government schools resort to the practice of giving transfer certificate to some students and remove them from their schools.
It is the primary responsibility of every school headmaster to take care to initiate necessary actions to get all students to pass in the Government Public Examinations.
Stringent actions will be taken on the school headmasters who indulge in giving transfer certificates to students with the public examinations scheduled in a short period.
All the district primary education Officers should ensure that such activities do not happen in the schools in their respective districts.
