Minister P. Mohan has stated State government has sanctioned adequate funds for improvement of infrastructure facilities in Chinna Salem, Kallakurichi and Sankarapuram blocks in Villupuram district.
The government sanctioned Rs. 1.33 crore for improvement of the Kallakurichi to Kadathur Road, Rs. 27 lakh for repairing the Kadambooran Temple Road and Rs. 37 crore for taking up various other works in Chinna Salem block.
The Minister also said that in the Kallakurichi block over 8,600 works were being implemented at a cost of Rs. 86.38 crore.
