An ‘Awareness camp’ for the farmers was organised on Tuesday, 1st September at Kaveripakkam cooperative council in Athipattu village on behalf of the department of agriculture.
Council president Ms. Hemalatha presided. Kaveripaakam Assisitant Director of Agriculture Mr. Stephen Jayakumar led the event.
The higher officials of Tayer Group Yudep, Muthaian, and Agricultural officer Ms. Leelavathy participated in the awareness camp.
They explained to the farmers in detail regarding the benefits of sowing the seeds using the latest equipment as per the reformed process of agricultural farming, getting the grant/subsidy for procuring the same, and also getting the grant/subsidy of Rs. 3000/- per acre.
Assistant Agricultura seed officer Mr. Sekhar and Assistant agricultural officer Mr. Selvakumar had made all arrangements. Athma Assistant Technical expert Mr. Raja proposed the vote of thanks.
