Farida Social Service Organisation from Ambur, Rotary club, and Matrapalli Good Smaritan Eye hospital jointly organised a free ‘eye-check’ camp at the Hazanath-E-Zartiah Girls Higher secondary School on Saturday, 22nd December.
Head of the Farida Social service Organisation Mr. Arshad Ahmed, secretary Mr. Sivakumar, Treasurer Mr. Anees Ahmed, Rotary Club President Annadurai, Secretary Robert Joel,and Planning Commission Director Mr. Javed Akmal had arranged the camp.
2200 people participated in the free eye-check camp. 70 were selected for eye surgery.
1716 people were selected to be given free spectacles.
All important officials of the 3 sponsoring agencies participated.
