In Katpadi a group of Government College Students were held a roko in Katpadi on Thursday to protest the hike in train fare and diesel price. Due to this Mr DSP Madhivannan has arrived at the college entrance and warned the students against the protest, even though the students attempted to hold a road roko, the police arrested them. They were released in the evening.
