On May 4,the doors of Kedarnath will be opened for devotees .With just a couple of months left and rehabilitation work in the area still pending, the task of making the yatra safe and smooth for pilgrims will be a challenging one for the state government. Madhu Bhatt, vice-president of Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), told TOI that the decision on the opening date of the shrine was taken at a meeting in Ukhimath on Shivratri on Thursday.
