In a recent survey, it has been found that among the countries in the world, Indians use the most impure water.
On this aspect, International Service of Water Aid Council informed that 75.8 million Indians (1.25 million people constituting 5% of the total Indian population) buy water at exorbitant rates.
The water sold at high prices are purified using chemicals.
The survey observes that one out of every 10 individuals in the world population of 650 million people does not get pure water.
