An electric short circuit is suspected of being the cause a massive fire that broke out in a market in Thideer Nagar in Madurai on Sunday. The fire that hit that part of the market that sells wood and furniture spread rapidly. At least 200 shops are feared to have been gutted. Police have launched a probe into the incident which, thankfully, did not have any casualties.
