At the Vellore District Conference of the All India BSNL Pensioners’ conference conducted recently, a resolution was passeddemanding a festival payment of Rs. 5000/-.
The 2nd district conference of All India BSNL Pensioners’ Association conference was conducted on Sundaqy, 19th April at the Town Hall near the old Vellore Bus Terminus.
District president Mr. Ezhumalai presided. Other association senior officials participated. All India Vice-president Mr. Mohan Dass was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the function and addressed the gathering.
Several resolutions were passed during the conference.
- 50% of Dearness Allowance should be merged with Basic Pension effective from 1st January, 2012.
- When the salaries are revised for BSNAL employees, pensions also should be revised accordingly.
- Pensioners should be a made a special festival payment of Rs. 5000/-.
- Pensioner & family must be given holiday tr4avel concession.
Earlier, financial assistance was released to the family of the pensioner who died. Retirees over 75 years of age were honored.
