About ten NCC officers belonging to the Tamil Nadu NCC Battalion are called by K.S. Ayyappa – the deputy director general of National Cadet Corps. This is for training the NCC cadets to mold them as talented students.
During his official visit to Vellore battalion, speaking to the entire crowd of all NCC officers, he said that Tamil Nadu stands second in NCC activity performance, whereas they stand third in various national level competitions. He also appreciated and congratulated the army trainers and NCC officers for their tiring work to achieve the position.
