A free eye check-up/treatment camp was conducted on Saturday, 25th April, at Gudiyatham Dr. Krishnaswamy Matriculation School.
Over 100 persons were treated.
9 persons were taken for free for eye surgery.
Vellore district blindness prevention Association, Ponvelavan Social Service Endowment, and Chennai Dr. Agarwal eye hospital jointly organised the free eye treatment camp.
Endowment founder, Mr. R. Ilango, presided. School treasurer, Dr. A K Krishnaswamy, inaugurated.
Eye specialist Dr. Kanchana, optometrist Jayabharathi, and Senior Nurse D Susila Bhai offered treatment.
All school senior officials and endowment senior officials participated.
