The “Nirmal Gram Puraskar” award was distributed to over 13 panchayat presidents of Vellore district. The honor was made by the president of India. These 13 were selected based on how they maintain the hygiene of their villages by means of proper women sanitary complex maintenance.
Over 94 panchayat presidents were nominated for the award out of which these 13 got selected. Below is the list of panchayat names that received the award:
