The Chennai Metro Rail administration has announced that metro train services would operate right through the night on the occasion of the New Year.
Chennai Metro Rail has been operating from Kyambedu to Aalandur. Usually, the first train from either station starts at 6.00 AM. The services stop at 10.00 PM.
On Holidays and festival days, additional trains will be operated depending on the demand.
With the New Year set to start on 31st December midnight at 12.00, the Metro Rail Administration has announced that additional trains will be run on the special occasion.
